Soft starters:
Soft Starter is mainly used in high torque applications. It Starly slowly and increases the speed gradually. The soft starter is nearly the same as VFD. Mainly they are driven by thyristor with the help of thyristor they Start slowly with the application of gate signal. Soft Starter has less number of components when components, they are control card with process display and  Thyristor for output driving. They may be a problem with the Thyristor or gate firing components used in the control card and maybe the problem with the power supply in the control card. We Proton Engineers follow the work process like visual inspection of Soft Starter Burnt Out of components and Burnt out of Tracks, Take photo of burn area then after starts the semi-conductor components inspection procedure. We follow our standard protocol to test the components. We use SMD Rework station, SMD soldering station, Air Blower, Fluke Multi-meter for smoother service activity.
We can repair all types of soft starters including AB, SIEMENS, etc…In this soft starter, we can do servicing of control and power section also we replace the thyristor when it is necessary. Also, we are doing starters Repair service, Soft Starters, and electronic card repairing service.
